Who Says FastFood for breakfast

Has to be expensive?

FastFood for breakfast does not have to be expensive. It can be prepared in advance then packaged in the morning and consumed at your leisure.

You get protein, carbohydrates, some fats and fiber by combining these foods to make a single meal. And, when you compare the cost to the brand name fast food chains, your cost is half of what you will be charged.

Try this fastfood combination and within a short amount of time, you will appreciate that you have Consistent Energy and No jitters between meals, but best of all, your hunger cravings for junk food will diminish over time as well.

Cook'n Recipe Software

Ingredients
  • 1- Egg
  • 2-Slices Ham or 1-slice Canadian Bacon
  • 4 oz Low-fat Cottage Cheese
  • 4-6 Celery slices
  • 2 oz Carrots
  • 1- Apple

Here is how this fastfood breakfast meal works...

Hard boil the eggs. Chris takes 6 large eggs and puts them in a sauce pan with cold water and brings to a boil.

When the water is boiling, shut off the heat and cover the pan of eggs with a lid.

When the pan is safe to touch, your eggs are hard boiled, but the yolk side is not dark green. This is done the night before. We use the eggs for other meals and in salads, so you are not going to consume the 6 eggs at one time.

The ham can be Canadian bacon ham or as we like, a low sodium deli ham. We use BH deli ham as it can be used easily in a sandwich but mostly because the ham is lean and has a delicate taste. But, you can vary this and use the ham that you enjoy the most and can find at a reasonable price.

The ham we use is sliced thin and we roll it to resemble a rollup. Yes, Canadian Bacon doesn't roll well, so you have to slice it like you get with a Chefs salad.

Two or three slices of ham is what I prefer, but you can do as you please. Just remember, super sizing your portions is NOT what you want to do.

The cottage cheese can be either in a single serving container or can be scooped from a larger container and placed in plastic ware.

We cut the celery into 4 inch stalks, rinsing them in cool water as we go.

The carrots are the sweet baby carrots that are already washed. We rinse them too and place a small handful to accompany the 4 or so pieces of celery.

Toss in a fresh apple or other piece of fruit and your done.

Note

This is not an every day breakfast plan. If you are looking to cut the expense of your fastfood breakfast, keep your intake of high fat and high caloric foods to a minimum this is one way to do just that.

If you cannot consume the yolk, remove it and (don't eat it).

In a total of 10 minutes, this breakfast is ready to put into a lunch bag to take with you or consume before you leave for work.

Try this fastfood breakfast at least once!

Create wonderful meals that fit your life-style!
