Chris Botti - Wow What A Night!

We received a pair of tickets to see Chris Botti. We saw his Boston concert on PBS so when we were offered these tickets Chris (my spouse) jumped at them. And we're glad she did!

The last several years, both Chris and I have only focused on work. Our social life has been a few gaterhings and an occasional event.

When you get up in age the amount of free time is shortened by the amount of energy you have to go to events.

After working all day your energy level is severely diminished. Couple that with a lack of spendable income and you have "boring...."

However, we received a pair of tickets and found out how much fun the right event can be.

The concert was "Awesome!" Never in our life-time of attending concerts and events did we experience goodness, very talented and aspiring muscians.

Between sets, Chris spoke about how he became a recognized talent. His rise to star status was a long road that began when he was asked to perform with Frank Sinatra.

This took him out of college at the 3rd year. Not something you really want to do, but none-the-less he did and what he did with his career is simply astounding.

Chris Botti did preface his story to the aspiring crowd of young listeners that his parents were not pleased that he left school before finishing. Each muscian has a musical background that is simply astounding and their range of play is so diverse. They listen to the music and play it with passion, as if it were the driving force.

A handsome young man with an extraordinary musical talent. But as I said earlier the concert was filled with goodness.

During a break we heard Chris would be signing autographs, so when the concert was over, we found the line and waited.

Sure enough, he came out and started signing and taking photographs with everyone who waited. But I said, this was heart-warming.

Just before we were to have our signature time with him, he excused himself and walked over to two wheel-chair bound people.

There he signed his autograph and had his picture taken with them. They were as thrilled as we!

Never have Chris and I been witness to this type of stardom.

Chris Botti is a true human being with a passion for music and, you guessed it, people.

This combination of personality truly brings out the best in you. The wait was worth it!

Thank you Chris Botti!

You are a true musical spirit! And the members of the band are "The Best!"

We'll be seeing you again...
